About

Wade G. Fink

A Second Generation of Fink: Neil Fink to Wade Fink

Wade Fink Law was born in March of 2017 and builds on the success of the Law Offices of Neil H. Fink, a Firm started by Wade’s father, the late Neil H. Fink. Neil is a famed criminal defense attorney and has been recognized as one of the best attorneys in Michigan's history. From a young age, Wade learned from the well-respected litigator as they worked together on state and federal trials, as well as appeals to the Michigan and United States Supreme Court. Wade carries on the legacy of his father, whose name became synonymous with the best criminal defense attorney one could hire. Neil Fink's career began in the 1960s when he represented Detroiters during the riots. Neil Fink rose to fame when he represented John Norman Collins, Michigan's first accused serial killer, dubbed the "Co-ed Killer." Neil Fink has been featured in a number of books, including "The Michigan Murders", "Detroit's Powers and Personalities," and "Good Cop, Bad Verdict," among others.  Neil Fink, based on his work defending those accused of being involved in organized crime, was also the inspiration for the fictional character "Neil Mink" from HBO's hit television show, The Sopranos.  Until his death in 2016, Neil Fink remained the most prominent criminal defense attorney in the State of Michigan. Wade Fink is proud to continue another generation of leadership at the Criminal Defense Bar.

Wade Fink Law is not just Wade, but it is several law clerks, administrative staff, and other attorneys. Wade’s goal was always to bring the lessons and successes of a big law firm practice to the criminal defense world. Wade attributes his Firm’s successes to providing the high-quality, hands-on work of a AmLaw 100 firm, in a field like criminal defense where that level of work is hard to find. The work speaks for itself, as Wade Fink Law has secured not guilty verdicts at trial and reversals of convictions on appeal with regularity.
